The Machine Has No Tradition is an intensive seminar for advanced undergraduate, graduate students, and young professionals who are working in an area related to technology. who want to understand technology in its essence and how to remain human in a technological age.

Students and faculty together grapple with Marx, Heidegger, McLuhan, Illich, Girard, and more. Guest speakers have included Matthew Crawford, Andy Crouch, Erika Bachiochi, and Peter Thiel.
